Chill out day!

This not working is fun trouble is my days seem to be getting lazier instead of more productive as originally planned. I have been told to"up my game"" or its back to work for me! Then I am sent a curve ball Tim wants a lift to Sarah's then its have a cup of tea and then its play with my new stamps They are Hearts. My favourite motif. Then its lunch time and you cannot rush off after you have eaten. So Sara ,John, Tamsin [tamzin] not sure which and myself sat and chatted then off to Morrisons shopping. This can be a fun experience despite you doubting critics out there.

On my own again this evening Simon golfing with John Boneham. Another meal he will have to be careful he is the wrong age now to over indulge. Or so he says to me!!

To anyone who might stumble upon this blog and think how boring . YES it maybe but I am thanking my blessings today because I am not flooded and without water and electricity. My family and friends are around me and mostly despite a few little niggles along the way, because no one is perfect . Its a great place to be.

Wednesday. WASH DAY!

After every holiday you have a suitcase of clothes to was and the weather man says I am going to have a good day. I took him at his word and spent all day washing and ironing didn't manage to finish before the heavens opened yet again. AND who says running an efficient house is easy!!

The plus side is to watch sky movies all day while ironing. If asked what job would I like to do second time around. Movie critic would be the answer Trouble is my written English would have to greatly improve.

Off to get Simon now from a buisness meeting at the Honey moon. I hasten to add this is a Chinease restaurant and I am told this meal is an end to a very busy day! Not even a doggy bag for the faithful and trustworthy wife.

Retired late throughly exhausted!

TIM AND CAROLYNS RETURN

Spent the morning round Jody's making myself useful! Then back home to do my housework.
I knew I had to pick Tim and Carolyn up from the airport[ Gatwick] at 7.15pm . Changed cars with Simon but then totally miss read the time. Thought it had said 10 to 6 but it wasnt it was 10 to 7!! Panic stations I needed an hour to get there at this time of the evening. SET OFF AT BREAKNECK SPEED only to meet every Sunday driver I could. I know that means safe but I was soooooo Late.
Tim rang me so all I could do was to apologize and say have a coffee. I finally arrive over an hour late after driving 40 m.p.h all the way.
Still they managed to laugh about it and put it down to just being me. They expect no less!! Both of them looked really healthy and tanned. Might be bad for you these days but it certainly makes you look and feel great.
I was given a gorgeous apron it is white with BIG red polka dots on and frills to look like a Spanish dress. Perfect! Trouble is I don't want to get it dirty.
Saw the photos and it looked idiylic. I would love some Sun but its not on the horison this year.
Goodnight off to dream.

Monday 23rd July

Dads birthday today bought him a mouse for his laptop talked about a digital camera but he would rather wait . Its all a little confusing at times . I certainly know that feeling!
Took lunch round and Holly Bevan and the children joined us along with Margaret. He wasn't himself today very breathless and just not feeling good. I really wish they would hurry up and make a decision soon about his pace maker. I hate seeing him so down.
Sebastian had a chocolate muffin and Clementine made a bee line for it, She is getting a greedy munchkin!
Another day gone. Tim and Carolyn will be back tomorrow.

Sunday22ndJuly 2007

Simon woke and left me sleeping because I had a late night, Babysitting for Rachael. He went and took Sebastian to his mums then came back home and we took off down to Eastbourne. The only condition was we had to be home by 12.00 Holly was going out.
We love taking Sebastian out even for a short while and hopefully we will be allowed to take Clememtine too! Its great being a grandparentbut hard to describe the feeling . You sometimes feel you could burst with so much love for them. I think it must be because they are part of your own child that makes it so special.
I really like this picture because it shows Sebastian and Simon always joined together. His Granny! He can say Grandad but for some reason won't. I hope he does soon with 3 granny's its a bit confusing !!

Helped Sarah with the cricket teas. Presidents day. For once the sun was shinning. It was glorious.

A new day dawns!

Today is another new day and Simon is not playing golf!! He has snuck off with Sebastian to see his mum. He will have to start taking Clementine soon . Treat them both the same Bless Clementine she is growing so fast and desperately wanting to crawl so she can join in with Sebastian. He certainly gets the biggest smiles from her.

The weather mEn say no summer for us until 2008 we are fine but the poor people who are flooded must feel devestated to hear this. I just cannot begin to imagine how awful it must be.

On a much lighter note Simon and I are off shopping later to Eastbourne trying to convince him to buy a new three piece suite but at the moment its not happening!!

Oh no ! off shopping now . You were right Holly!!!!! Be back later x

The NEXTsale

4TH ATTEMPT The idiot, thats me is not doing so well today all I want to do is add photos to my ramblings. So many problems and I know its all my own doing I just have to decide why.
Here 's Holly looking very pleased with herself carrying her Sale bargins from Next. Shopping at 7.30 am wasn't as bad as other years where we have had her as a child queing at 5am even in the snow. She was being kind to me today in my old age.
Clementine[7mths] and Sebastian[2yrs] are going to look gorgeous in their new clothes.
Myself didn't do so well and the trousers will be going back.

I had a lovely day yesterday Dad and I went into Tunbridge Wells and had TEA in a small tea room called the Nutmeg. It was very quaint slightly Victoriana with their uniforms in black and white frilly aprons. It was so nice to have properly brewed tea instead of the squidged tea bag of today . When did I become so lazy? I would like to put a photo here but I know it will appear at the top and I DON'T KNOW WHY. I really do not want to type this again. Simon is too busy watching the golf to help . W ill grab him later.

Brew time I believe so bye for now.

Friday20th July New skill day!

Disappointed this morning . Yesterday turned out to be a beautiful day and lunch with Judy was delicious. But today is wet and the weather forecast doesn't bode well. I was off to Marys for my quilting class and we will be learning how to dye our own fabric. Having experimented with the tye-dying in the 70's I was looking forward to learning a new technique. Oh no! it's chucking it down it will be canceled for sure.
Just had a quick lesson from Simon[hubby] on how to post links he explains it so elquently" Its easy an idiot can do it!" and "one" just has!!!
Writing this has made me realise how hopless and uninspiring my written english is . Emily Bronte I am not! Still plenty of time on my hands to improve another saying comes to mind" Where there's a will there's a way" I have so many words floating around in my mind but when it comes to writing them are they correct. I think the dictionary will become my new best friend. Or should I just get a life!!!!!!!!!!!
Well am finishing now off to do the obligitory housework and then hopefully some scrapbooking if the weather doesn't improve.

Thursday 19th July PHOTO UP!

There will be those who would think this is easy but putting a photo on this blog of mine was" one huge step for man kind!!" Not the best photo in the world but if others have to suffer looking at me I should have a go myself!
It is a reasonable morning today. The sun is trying to shine and give some essence of a summers day in July.
I will be lunching with a friend which I am told Ladies of leisure do . Only one condition from my beloved the house work has to be complete and his clothes washed and ironed in the cupboard. Then he wishes me a lovely day.
My first entry of a new age diary ! Lets hope something interesting will happen but for today I will just be very thankful that I am alive !!

First Attempt!

I have no idea what to do! My husband says its child's play so maybe I should get my grandson who is two to help . This is all gobble-di- gook to me. But at the time it seemed like a good idea!
